Pinehurst recently welcomed over 100 teachers from Cambridge schools across Auckland to our school for a series of Cambridge Network Meetings, bringing subject leaders together to collaborate, share practice, and reflect on teaching and assessment.

These sessions provided a valuable opportunity for teachers to exchange ideas, discuss classroom approaches, and reflect on the recent Cambridge exams, all with a shared focus on strengthening teaching and learning for students.

Pinehurst staff led subject-specific discussions across a wide range of areas, including Combined & Coordinated Science, Design & Technology, English Literature, Environmental Management, Geography, Global Perspectives, History, Physical Education, and Spanish. Thank you to our subject leaders for representing Pinehurst and facilitating thoughtful, engaging conversations that benefited teachers from across the network.

Events like these highlight the strength of the Cambridge Assessment International Education community and the importance of professional connection. It was energising to see educators come together with a shared commitment to reflective practice, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Thanks to all visiting teachers for their contribution and we look forward to continuing these valuable connections in 2026.
