Pinehurst’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, its goal of minimising vehicle congestion in and around the school campus, and its focus on prioritising spending on facilities that directly benefit students over parking, means we are proud to provide a subsidised bus service for our students — with nine routes across Auckland’s North Shore and further we make it easier for students to get to and from school.

Every school day, over 200 Pinehurst students travel safely to and from school using our bus service. With routes covering Albany, Orewa, Warkworth, Kumeu, and across the North Shore, we make it easy for families to plan a smooth, reliable journey.

  • Smarter School Transport with RollCall

    We use RollCall, a real-time bus tracking system, to give parents complete peace of mind. Through the RollCall app, you can see exactly where your child’s bus is, check when they’ve tapped on or off, and receive notifications if there’s a delay.

    We have access to RollCall’s live dashboard which shows every bus in motion and every student onboard, helping us respond quickly, communicate clearly, and keep things running on time.

  • Why Tapping On & Off Matters

    Tapping on and off each time students travel helps us know who is on the bus and when they have arrived safely. It’s an important part of keeping our bus service safe, accurate, and running smoothly for all families.

    College students are expected to use their school-issued ID card, while Primary students should use their allocated bus token for every journey. While we understand there can occasionally be genuine short-term issues, students who repeatedly do not tap on and off may be unable to continue using the bus service until the issue has been addressed.
