It was a privilege to have two Pinehurst teachers represent our school at the Cambridge Schools Conference in Bali, hosted by Cambridge International Education. The conference brought together more than 340 leaders and teachers from 211 schools across 37 countries, by a shared purpose: preparing young people to thrive in a changing world.
Over two days, the conversations were thoughtful, energising, and future-focused. Teachers shared ideas, challenged thinking, and explored how learning continues to evolve across different cultures and contexts.
Paul Le Lievre (College) presented on Pinehurst’s approach to teaching Global Perspectives, sharing how inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving are embedded in our classrooms. It was especially rewarding to hear how strongly his session resonated, with many delegates continuing conversations long after the presentation ended.
Georgia Green (Primary) spent time connecting with colleagues from the international Cambridge community, contributing to discussions around artificial intelligence in education. One of her key reflections was how closely the global conversations aligned with the direction Pinehurst is already taking, especially in the thoughtful, responsible, and meaningful use of AI to support learning.
We’re proud to see Pinehurst represented on the international stage and grateful for the insights that will continue to shape learning for our students.
