Harnessing talent on and off the stage

Music is woven into the fabric of Pinehurst life. From classroom lessons to co-curricular ensembles, our programme is designed to support students at every level — whether they’re beginners exploring their first instrument or advanced musicians preparing for competitions and performances.

Performance is woven through every stage—whether it’s preparing for solo and group assessments in Years 7–9, joining a rock band, playing in our KBB Orchestra, or taking the stage in one of our school showcases. Along the way, students discover new talents, find their voice, and create memories that last long after the final note.

Many Pinehurst musicians have gone on to achieve extraordinary things—from scholarships at the Royal College of Music in London, to performing at major festivals and leading school ensembles. But at every level, music at Pinehurst is about joy, connection, and the confidence that comes from being part of something bigger.
