Junior College Diving Stars
Zoe (Year 8) and Ivy (Year 7) attended the national diving championships at West wave Pool and Leisure Centre on the 24th 25th and 26th of October. They competed in several dives, each day from a different board. They dived from 1 metre, 3 metre and 5 metre boards.
They both had a very positive experience and hope to do it again next year. Zoe said, ‘I was quite nervous because I had learnt 3 of the dives not too long ago and I had never competed them, but I tried my best and had a great time.’ Ivy who has been diving for a long time said, ‘It was the most fun I have ever had and I can’t wait to do it again.’
