Pinehurst Wins NI Sec Schools Show Hunter Champs

Pinehurst’s Team 1 equestrian team has convincingly won the NI Secondary School Show Hunter Champs held in Cambridge.  Winning by a compelling 15 point margin to St. Peter’s who placed second; the equestrians continued their winning streak after winning the Auckland Inter-secondary Ribbon Day event earlier in the year.

Each member of the team rode two rounds and an overall prize was also given for Equitation (on the rider) for each round. The team placing’s were as follows:

TEAM 1:

Meg Joustra (Captain) – 1st, 1st and won both Equitation (rider) awards for her rounds
Hannah Comrie – 2nd, 3rd
Tyla Myburgh – 1st, 2nd
Maddy Buttle – 4th, 7th

Congratulations also to Pinehurst Team 2 with riders in this composite team also doing well with Zoe Ander receiving a 1st & 8th and winning an Equitation prize for her round and Shannon Harvey receiving a 5th place.
